Edgar Allan Poe makes the Powel Crosley Estate his home of mystery and imagination for the Powel Crosley Theatre's Poe at the Crosley, and he personally greets you along with a cast of historical and literary characters. During the performance, you move from room to room at the Crosley and experience theatrical presentations of Poe’s works such as The Conqueror Worm, Eldorado, The Fall of the House of Usher, Hop Frog, The Oblong Box, The Raven and others. Opening and closing gatherings are held outside in the lovely courtyard facing Sarasota Bay to take full advantage of the spectacular view.
